So I could have been the Irish Yahoo?!! It was amazing how popular it became. It was up there with Doras as one of the main Irish portals, with around 10,000 links in it. If only I had had a bit of funding at the time....??

Hmm.. Don't know. It's interesting because what you originally started was exactly the same as how Yahoo! started!

I suppose thinking about it a bit more it might be time to put it out to grass as it would undoubtadly end up being spammed to oblivion.

Anyone is welcome to it, but frankly, it's a bit of a white elephant. There are so many dead and outdated links that it would be simpler to start from scratch. Anyway, is there a demand for directories these days?

I think the time is right to hand it over the running to a community of sorts to relaunch it. I'm sure you would have no problem finding some volunteer moderators.

Stick some ads up on it and see what happens.
