It is a good point about Caps Lock.  It had occurred to me too (you&#039;ll be pleased to hear!)  Maybe it&#039;s only nerds who worry about such things?  ;)</description>

I&#039;m not sure how easy it is in Windows, but in Linux, it can be done easily through xmodmap.

I have replaced my own caps-lock with another left CTRL key. This means I&#039;m not doing gymnastics now to do stuff like ctrl+w to close browser tabs.

speaking of caps-lock - I wonder why it&#039;s not called shift-lock, or why the shift button is not called caps?

Everyone I&#039;ve queried on this just looked at me as if I was out of my mind for wondering such a thing (and then would tell me to get the hell out of their toilet).</description>
