Matthew Bauer | Director/Writer/Producer

Matthew Bauer is an Award-winning film director, producer and writer. He was born and raised in Australia on a diet of Bond films, labyrinthine thrillers and Errol Morris documentaries before attending NYU Film School.

Matt traveled the globe for ten years meeting and filming the lives of real men named James Bond for the 2022 documentary The Other Fellow. It was nominated for Best Documentary Feature at the National Film Awards, Austin Film Festival and DocEdge Film Festival and longlisted for Best Debut Director (Documentary) at the British Independent Film Awards. It won an Award at DocEdge Film Festival and the Human Spirit Award at the Chagrin Documentary Film Festival. 

The film was released in USA, UK and European cinemas in 2023 - attaining a 100% rating on Rotten Tomatoes before it’s streaming release on Amazon’s Prime Video in USA and ITVX in the UK. Michelle Brøndum | Producer

A Producing (MA) graduate of the UK’s National Film and Television School, Brøndum is a Cannes-nominated producer based in London.

She began her career in her native Denmark - working freelance as a production coordinator and manager on Danish and Scandinavian feature films and co-productions. In 2015 she produced her first feature, the Danish horror A GOD WITHOUT A UNIVERSE, which premiered at CPH PIX, and has been theatrically released in Denmark and on DVD/VOD across Europe and the US.

Michelle has since produced several award-winning shorts, VR titles, history and science documentaries – including REQUIEM (RTS Award nominee, 2021), STORIES OF YOU AND I (GAS BAFTA Student Award nominee, 2021), documentary feature SCALA CLUB CINEMA (line producer, 2021), OTHER HALF (Best Student Film nominee, Cannes International Film Festival, 2021), VR game COVRT OPERATION (GAS BAFTA Student Award nominee, 2020), LILA (Palm Springs International Film Festival, 2019), and THE CONFIRMATION (Inside Out Toronto LGBT Film Festival, 2019).

Lesley Posso | Editor

A Gibraltarian editor based in London, Posso has won the Avid Award for ‘Excellence in Editing’ and the Royal Television Society: Craft Skills Editing Award for her work on CATERPILLAR (2021). Her animated short NIGHT OF THE LIVING DREAD (2021) was nominated for the BAFTA Awards, BIFA Awards and GSA BAFTA Student Awards, winning the 2022 Annie Awards and RTS Awards for Best Student Animation. Posso is alumni from the National Film and Television School, where her documentary short TEASE won the 2021 Grierson Award for Best Student Documentary.

A passionate advocate and voice for LGBTQ filmmaking, Posso was nominated for the Iris Prize (DRAGGED UP, 2021). Having worked on THE OTHER FELLOW (2022), she is currently editing the feature drama BROKEN BIRD and Disney+ short NIGHTS.

Alastair McNamara | Composer

Coming from an eclectic musical background, Alastair weaves influences from electronic, vocal and orchestral styles into his scores, whilst staying true to his own authentic voice. Using sampling and contemporary electronic techniques to create atmosphere and tone, whilst falling back on a rigorous training in orchestral writing to add power and pathos to his scores, Alastair's versatility allows him to write music that is not only honest and authentic, but also serves each story he tells.

After winning the 'Hargreaves Fund Prize for Film Music Composition' from Manchester University, following in the footsteps of composers such as Benjamin Wallfisch and Martin Phipps, Alastair went on to study Composition for Film & TV at the National Film and Television School.

Among notable work is his score for the short documentary 'Tease' which won the Grierson Award from Best Student Film in 2021 before being bought by and broadcast on Channel 4, his score for the feature documentary 'The Other Fellow' which is on streamers worldwide and is having a limited theatrical run in the UK, as well as writing additional music for the BBC drama 'Steeltown Murders'.

In the music department, Alastair has assisted on various broadcast TV and feature length projects including season 2 of 'The Capture' on BBC One, as well as season 3 of 'War of the Worlds' and 'The Young Woman and the Sea' for Disney +. Alastair is also a passionate conductor and orchestrator, having conducted the recording session for Fabio Amurri's score for the feature 'Within Sand' and well as orchestrating his music for the Italian Sky series 'Call My Agent Italy'. In January 2023, Alastair orchestrated and conducted a session with the BBC National Orchestra of Wales for the the aforementioned 'Steeltown Murders'.

Rene van Pannevis | Co-Writer

Born in The Netherlands and based in London, Rene gained a BA Film Studies at Utrecht University. The same year he enrolled at the prestigious NYU/Tisch, under the tutelage of David Fincher and Oliver Stone. His documentary short GODVERDOMME! (2009) screened at the Palm Springs International Film Festival. Short films DJ TIESTO (2011), BOON KENG MIDNIGHT (2011) and JUNKIE XL (2013) followed.

In 2015 he wrote and directed JACKED – which screened at the London Film Festival and the 2016 Berlinale (nominated for a Crystal Bear Award) and won Best Short at the 2016 BIFA Awards.

Funded by the BFI, BBC Films and Film London, his directorial feature debut LOOTED (2019) premiered at the Tallinn Black Nights Film Festival and won the coveted FIPRESCI Award.

A recent jury member for Tallinn and BIFA, Rene is developing his next feature film. He is represented by Independent Talent (UK) and William Morris Endeavor (US).

Jamie Touche | Director of Photography

London based, he is a NFTS Director of Photography and Cinematography graduate. His short WHEN SHE WAS GOOD (2021) was nominated for the BSC’s Short Film Cinematography and won at WILDSound Festival and Los Angeles’ Global Shorts. His debut feature SCANDAL IN 97 is on Sky and Hulu, and his second feature CEREBRUM starring Steve Oram is in post-production. Having shot The Divine Comedy’s ‘The Best Mistakes’ video (2021), Jamie continues to work on music videos, shorts, documentaries, and commercials.
